Accor Reservation Cancellation Covid-19 Policy Now Valid Through December 31, 2020

Accor has updated its coronavirus cancellation policy set to expire on September 30, and the waiver has now been extended to December 31, 2020.

Accor’s Global Policy has been simplified, except Europe, where members can get cash refunds if the hotel is closed (elsewhere even vouchers in this instance).

I am glad that Accor has now extended its waiver by three months through the end of 2020 because this Covid-19 will be with us for much of 2021 too.

There is no excuse for credit vouchers if the hotel is still closed and likely never to reopen. Accor should allow these funny money vouchers to be used at all of its affiliated hotels.
