Marriott Bonvoy has extended its Elite Benefits Guarantee suspension now thrice: first until July 5, then until September 15, and most recently this week until December 31, 2020.
We would like to hear from our readers which Marriott affiliated hotels have refused to provide and exactly what benefits: relocation compensation, late checkout, upgrades, club lounge access, and/or breakfast.

Conclusion
We have seen reports on various pieces from readers that have had their elite breakfast denied while the hotel’s restaurant is serving one for guests whose rate plan includes one, or that the late checkout is not available even when the hotel is half empty.
I have to say that I have been lucky that I spent most of the March – September in Japan and had no issues getting my elite benefits at Marriott, Hyatt, or Hilton hotels.
Some had their club lounges closed, but elite benefits were provided at open F&B outlets (could be beneficial for the guests).
When I was in London in the past two weeks (I will have a piece up tomorrow), I was mostly satisfied with how three Marriott and one Hilton hotel handled the Titanium/Diamond benefits from good to excellent.
