AA bug shows phantom award space] Japan Airlines First Class Wide Open for 2 to/from Tokyo Spring 2021

UPDATE: We’re not seeing the same award space through other partners, and AA is unable to book the first class awards that it is showing.  This seems to be an AA bug.

I found first-class award space to be wide open for 2 adults in spring 2021 on two particular routes and in both directions:

  • Tokyo Haneda (HND) – New York (JFK)
  • Tokyo Haneda (HND) – San Francisco (SFO)

Flights between the US and Tokyo can be booked with 70,000 Alaska miles or 80,000 AA miles one-way.
