Brazil Is Open For International Visitor Arrivals!

Brazil made a surprise decision and opened its borders for international visitors effective this Thursday (July 30, 2020) despite the continuous increase in daily Covid-19 infections and a high number of deaths.

The country has soon had 100,000 deaths from the coronavirus, and many more millions infected.

Brazil is probably an ideal destination right now if you would like to test the strength of your immune system and the travel insurance from Emirates (read more here) that covers burial expenses for up to 1,500 euros.

I certainly wouldn’t rush to the country, where I was most recently this past February, considering the high daily infections and deaths. The state has messed up the response for the Covid-19 following the lead from up north.

You have to keep in mind that even if Brazil would allow you in, you likely have to quarantine for two weeks upon returning to your home.
