Accor Live Limitless has sent out emails today about their coronavirus response in regards to reservation cancellations and refunds (read more here) and how they will handle status qualification.
Elite members will be gifted 50% of the number of nights and euros for the status level they have qualified based on 2019 activity.

Loyalty goes both ways
We know that earning ALL – Accor Live Limitless Points and Status is important to you. Understanding that travel plans are being significantly disrupted, we will be crediting 50% of the status nights and points required to achieve your current status level. We will keep you informed of any additional changes to the program as the situation continues to evolve.
Here’s what Accor ALL will credit:
- Silver 800 euros or 10 nights (will credit 400 euros and 5 nights)
- Gold 2,800 euros or 30 nights (will credit 1,400 euros and 15 nights)
- Platinum 5,600 euros or 60 nights (will credit 2,800 euros and 30 nights)
- Diamond 10,400 euros (will credit 5,200 euros)

Good that Accor Live Limitless was able to come up with the status qualification formula promptly when the booking cancellation/refunds took a while and are still unsatisfactory.
ALL here assumes that the shock to the travel would be in effect lost 6 months. We will know in a few months if this is the case or not. It would have been simpler if they had just extended everyone’s status by a year.
