Lazio’s Health Commissioner Alessio D’Amato pleaded for people to continue with face coverings.

Barcelona is on the brink of lockdown after locals were urged to remain indoors unless essential, while the Balearic Islands has enforced face masks in public spaces.
British tourists have been welcomed back to both countries since last month, with both Spain and Italy not requiring UK travellers to quarantine on arrival.
The UK government has also lowered restrictions for travelling to the two countries, and does not require travellers to self-isolate when returning home.
