A friend of mine forwarded me a rather chaotic and unwelcoming welcome email that Courtyard & Residence Inn LA Live had sent him.

It is good that hotels inform guests what services are available and procedures in place. This email, however, from Courtyard & Residence Inn LA Live is simply awful and off-putting.

We would like to share important information with you prior your arrival. Please find attached the welcome letter.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Hilton Milan.

Thank you again and kindest regards.

Conclusion

When my friend forwarded the email, I replied, couldn’t he cancel the stay and stay elsewhere?

If the hotel believes that sending such misformatted and negative emails is acceptable, how do you think that the on-property benefits and services are?
