A PASSENGER decided to kill time at the airport by plugging his PlayStation 4 into the monitor screens while he was waiting for his flight.
The man was spotted at Portland International Airport yesterday after using one of the screens next to the airport departure boards.
The unknown traveller tried to play Apex Legends by himself, a free-to-play Battle Royale game similar to Fornite.
In the picture revealed by KXL News, he was spotted using a large monitor which is used to display rolling adverts for the airport.
Instead, he decided to play his game while sitting on a stool, seemingly using the airport’s WiFi to play online.
Port of Portland spokesperson Kama Simonds told the news site that he was asked to stop as passengers “need the information that we are putting on the screens”.
According to Kama, supervisors asked him to unplug his device and stop using the monitors.
The gamer “very politely” asked if he could finish the game but was told no.
Thankfully, Apex Legends will soon come to mobile so fans of the game will be able to play without hijacking the monitors.
