CORONAVIRUS has infected more than 31,000 people as the death toll across the world exceeds 600.
With 28 countries reporting cases of the virus, flights are being banned and travel advisories are being issued by the government.

Australia has reported cases of coronavirus in the country, while New Zealand has yet to have any infected.
However, both countries have updated their travel checks, restricting flights and tourists coming from China.
Here is the latest travel warning for Australia and New Zealand for tourists.
Is it safe to travel to Australia?
Australia has reported 14 cases of coronavirus in the country, following the evacuation of Australians from Wuhan.
People visiting the country are placed in quarantine on Christmas Island for 14 days.
The UK government has warned that there are “temporary restrictions” for anyone travelling to Australia who visited or transited through China since February 1 with tourists being banned from entering.
They warn: “The Australian Government announced temporary restrictions on travellers from mainland China in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Australia will deny entry to anyone who has left or transited mainland China from 1 February, with the exception of Australian citizens, permanent residents, and immediate family members of Australian citizens and permanent residents including spouses, minor dependants and legal guardians.
“Given the fast changing situation, you should check the latest entry requirements for your destination or check with your airline before you travel.”
The US government has not issued any travel warnings for tourists visiting Australia.
Is it safe to travel to New Zealand?
There are no cases of coronavirus currently reported in New Zealand.
However, the country is taking strict measures to prevent the spread of the virus in the country.
According to the UK government: “New Zealand announced temporary restrictions on travellers (including those transiting) from mainland China in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Given the fast changing situation, you should check the latest entry requirements for your destination on the New Zealand Immigration website or check with your airline before you travel.”
Customs has also closed all eGates at New Zealand airports and will scan travellers manually.
The US government has not issued any travel advisories for visitors heading to New Zealand.
