TUI and Jet2 have slashed the prices of last minute holidays to Greece, Madeira and Cyprus.
Savings of up to 48 per cent can be had on trips to Kos, Crete, Rhodes, Paphos and Madeira, departing between 27 – 31 October.
While none of the locations mentioned currently require quarantine on return to the UK, they do have certain requirements for arrivals from Britain, so you are advised to check what will be needed before booking.
It is also advised that the the UK government is regularly adding and removing destinations from their safe travel corridors, so check before you travel.

If you contract COVID-19 while you’re away, you’re also covered for overseas medical assistance, testing costs and a flight home for treatment if required.
Madeira three-star half-board holidays from £379 per person departing 31 October (includes 22kgs and resort transfers)
Crete 4-star all-inclusive holidays from £379 per person departing 31 October (includes 22kgs and resort transfers)
Travellers to Greece must complete an online Passenger Locator Form at least 24 hours before their arrival.
Travellers to Madeira and Cyprus are required to take a private Covid test within 72 hours of travel.
There are more spaces than usual in hotels and on planes heading to the various destinations, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and a summer of restrictions placed on travellers by the government.
That means package operators and travel agents have spots to fill, so the prices are priced to try and make that happen.
